Mia Anstine Interview
Mia Anstine is a hunting guide, an angler, a certified archery and firearms instructor, and co-owner of Wolf Creek Outfitters. She learned to hunt, track, and dress out game from her father as a child and became a huntress as a young, single-mother, hoping to turn her skills into full freezers for the price of a hunting license. She later began to lead guided hunts, when she met her husband, the owner of of Wolf Creek Outfitters. Mia is a blogger, a speaker, and instructor, a writer, and a mom, passing on her love of the great outdoors to her daughter, and encouraging women everywhere to take part in the great American tradition of hunting. She is also just the third woman (the first American woman) to ever appear on the cover of Field & Stream Magazine, joining Queen Elizabeth and Canadian Eva Shockey. In this episode, Mia shares her passion for the outdoors and for firearms, and talks about women and guns, teaching women to hunt and shoot, and Mia's many motivations.
